Description

May Cottage is a 17th-century, two-storey house located on Blackmore View. It is finished in stucco with a roughcast end and features a thatched roof. Although the building is originally from the 17th century, it was altered in the early 19th century. The northeast end of the front of the house projects, and there are four windows in total, two of which are blind. The windows are sash style with intact glazing bars. The projecting bay includes a slightly bowed sash window on the first floor. Additionally, there is an enclosed porch with a peaked roof topped by a fleur de lis finial on the wall.
