Description

Plyford Farmhouse is a 2-storey farmhouse with origins that may date back to the 18th century or possibly earlier. It features roughcast facing over stone rubble and cob walls, topped with a thatched roof and boxed eaves. The farmhouse has stone chimneys at the ridge ends, and the east gable end is buttressed. On the first floor, there are four 19th-century wood casement windows, while the ground floor has three similar casements. A modern gabled porch leads to the door, and there is a thatched wing at the rear, which also has 19th-century casements.
