Description
Fleetlands Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 18th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and yellow brick dressings. The roof is slate, with end brick chimneystacks. The building has two storeys and attics in the gable ends, and it includes three windows. The casement windows, two of which are triple, have cambered head linings on the ground floor, which also features a 19th-century brick arched gabled porch. There is a 19th-century brick lean-to on the right side, and the left wing is built with matching materials. The rear elevation has one casement window with red brick dressings, one 19th-century triple casement, and attached stone outbuildings. Although an interior inspection was not permitted, it has been reported that there is a spine beam measuring 3 or 4 inches.
