Description

Springfield is a thatched and rough-cast house, originally dating from the early 17th century, with significant alterations in the early 19th century. It is two storeys high. The south-facing entrance front has three windows, with casement windows featuring a lozenge glazing pattern. A glazed porch and a glazed door with two panels and a semi-circular fanlight are also present. The east front has sash windows and a half-octagon bay window, both with lozenge glazing. Formerly a detached building, a lower, two-storey thatched extension now adjoins the main house on the west side.
