Description

Hawthorns is a detached, two-story house dating from circa 1830. It is stuccoed with a low-pitched gable-end slate roof. The front facade originally had four windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor, though the right-hand bay may be a later extension. The windows are recessed sash windows, with their glazing bars largely intact, except those on the ground floor of the right bay. A trellis porch, currently obscured by climbing plants, sits at the front. The recessed front door is of four panels, with two glazed panels. A two-story wing extends to the rear of the property and features three windows with intact glazing bars.
