Description

Starcombe Farmhouse is a small farmstead located on Starcombe Lane in Sidbury, likely dating from the 17th century, with some alterations. The building is constructed of stone rubble and cob, and it features a thatched roof, which has been rough cast in places. The farmhouse is designed in an L shape and includes some additions. It has 2-light 19th-century wooden casement windows, and the thatch is "eyebrowed" over the first-floor window. A modern glazed porch has been added, along with a lean-to structure with a corrugated iron roof on the south side.
