Description

Higher Sweetcombe Farmhouse is a house dating probably from the 17th century, with alterations from the 18th and early 19th centuries. It is constructed of stone rubble and cob, with some timber framing, and partly plastered. The roof is thatched, and there is an external stone chimney at the west end, featuring offsets and a brick stack. There are 2- and 3-light wooden casement windows with red brick dressings and wooden lintels. A plain cottage door provides access.
