Description
Lincombe Farmhouse outbuildings are located at Lincombe Farm on Lincombe Lane in Sidbury. The buildings date back to 1610, as indicated by a date tablet on the front. The farmhouse is constructed of stone and cob with a rough cast finish and features a thatched roof with a sloping ridge and eaves line. An external chimney with a stone base and offsets is situated at the west end. The outbuildings, made of brick, stone, and cob, some of which still have thatch, connect with the farmhouse and enclose a yard. Some of these outbuildings have been re-roofed and modernized. The farmhouse also includes 19th-century wood casements and an original nail-studded door with strap hinges, which is set within a later brick porch.
