Description

This headstone, dated 1794, is located approximately 1.5 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Mary in Offwell. It commemorates Martha Pavey and is made of hamstone. The upright slab stands about 1.5 metres high and features rounded corners. The front of the headstone is inscribed with Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, including some italics, detailing the death of Martha Pavey in 1794 and includes a devotional poem.
