Description

The Paver headstone, dated 1761, is located approximately 6 metres south-south-west of the porch of the Church of St Michael in Otterton. This Grade II listed headstone commemorates William Paver. It is made of limestone and stands about 400mm high. The head of the slab is somewhat damaged and irregular. The front features a simple incised border and is inscribed with large Roman serif lettering in both upper and lower case, recording the death of William Paver in 1761.
