Description
Lower Court Farmhouse is a building from the 17th century or early 18th century, which has undergone alterations and additions. It is two stories high, with a roughcast exterior and a thatched roof that is hipped at the north end. A large projecting chimney with offsets, made of lime-washed brick, is located at the north end, alongside a brick and rubble wall that is part of a projecting wing to the west. The wing features a first-floor band and has five first-floor casement windows, with three-light and two-light configurations. To the left of the chimney, there is a three-light casement window with a round head and pointed panes. Barns with iron roofs flank each side of the front, surrounding a yard. Lower Court Farmhouse is part of a group that includes Fluxton Farmhouse and Mounteven's Farmhouse.
