Description

Tipton Mill is an 18th-century red brick structure located on the bank of the River Otter, 700 meters north of Little Barton. The building features dark headers and is two stories tall with dormers. The mill has two wheels positioned at right angles to each other, and they may still be operational. Adjoining the mill is a millhouse that includes two sash windows and a modern porch. There is a wing at the rear of the building, which is said to have once served as a bakery. The entire complex is topped with a continuous slate roof.
