Description
Fenn Cottage, Myrtle Cottage, Lavender Cottage, and Bank Cottage are a row of four cottages located at the southeast corner of the lane leading to Tipton Hall, on the road to Combe. These cottages date back to the 17th century and are two stories tall. They are constructed partly of cob and thatch, though they now feature a slate roof at the rear. A large external chimney is positioned centrally at the front, complete with offsets and a stone shaft. Each floor of Fenn Cottage has a small square casement window on its eastern return. Inside, there is a massive hewn beam and crossbeam with a wide chamfer.
