Description

These stables, located approximately 45 yards south-west of Hooperhayne Farmhouse, date from the 18th or 19th century and are constructed from stone rubble. The stable range, which includes a hay loft above, is positioned at right angles to the road and faces the farmyard. It features a slate roof with gabled ends and dressed stone quoins. On the ground floor, there are two windows and stable doors set in brick surrounds, with a loft door situated above. Additionally, there is a loft door in the gable end facing the road. This building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
