Description

SALCOMBE ROAD 1. 1633 (South Side) Nos 1 to 7 (consec) SY 1287 1/267 GV II 2. Group of formerly 4 or 5 stucco faced houses. The left hand section of 4 windows with balcony early C20 rebuilding. The rest early C19 of 3 and 2 storeys with attic. Gable end slate roof with moulded eaves cornice, one gable to front Recessed sash windows, most with glazing bars intact, some with splayed reveals and drip moulds over on ornamented stops. Left hand section 1st floor has 2 canted tent-roofed bays. No 1 (Bedford John's Ltd) on ground floor has modern bowed shop window and recessed door of 4 panels, rectangular fanlight, cornice over on decorated consoles. The rest of ground floor of Nos 2 to 7 is occupied by the entirely modern premises of Slade's Garage.

Nos 1 to 7 consec form a group with the Radway Inn, Radway.
