- Late C18. 3 storeys and attic faced in colour washed stucco. Slightly projecting central bay. Fluted flanking pilasters, probably full height originally, now cut off by shop. Hipped slate roof with moulded eaves cornice broken forward over centre bay. 2 sash dormers. 5 sash windows, glazing bars intact in moulded frames to upper floors. Mid C19 shop front across ground floor framed with pilasters. Round headed plate glass lights to shop windows. Door to right also framed by pilasters upper part glazed with square bottom panels. Large fascia and blind case cut across lst floor windows.
Nos 23 to 41 (consec) and the part of the National Westminster Old Bank in Market Place form a very fine group.
