Description
Cole's Mill is a watermill and mill house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed stone rubble and features a slate roof, which is hipped and gabled over the mill house and gable ended at the mill end. The mill house is located at the south-west end and has two storeys with an attic, displaying a two-window front with sash windows that include glazing bars, alongside a modern round attic window at the centre. There are wide modern panelled double doors at the centre of the front, and to the left, there are casements with leaded panes. At the rear, there is a long range of the water mill that contains late 19th-century water mill machinery, along with a lower two-storey range to the north-west.
