Description

Lenwade Mills is a watermill dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. The main mill is constructed of colourwashed brick and has a modern concrete-tile roof. It is three storeys high with an attic, featuring sash windows with glazing bars and segmental heads. A gabled dormer is positioned at attic level. A two-storey mill house, also of colourwashed brick with a hipped slate roof, adjoins the west gable. This house has sash windows and a chimney stack on its ridge line. The east gable of the mill has two large, semi-circular headed windows. The building is included on the list for its group value.
