Description
Wensum House is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and a facade with three bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and have rubbed arches above them. The central doorway is framed by a Doric door surround and features a part-glazed six-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight that has decorative glazing bars. The doorway has a panelled reveal and there is a modillion eaves course along the roofline. The house has two chimney stacks and a catslide extension on the west side. At the southwest corner, there is a range of brick and pantile cottages that are 1½ storeys tall and have been much altered, located at the south gable.
