Description
The entrance gates, railings, and piers to Lenwade Lodge at Weston House date from 1849 and were made by Garrett of Leiston. They feature a pair of rusticated limestone piers topped with square moulded caps and ball finials. The screen consists of spear-headed iron railings with a dog-rail and lower intermediates that connect square iron gate piers of cage construction, which also have moulded caps and gilt ball finials. The pair of gates has a top rail that sweeps down from the piers, and the detailing of the gates matches that of the railings.
