Description

No. 6 Monks Lane is a house that dates from the later 18th century. It is constructed of painted rubble stone and features a concrete tile roof with a stack at the north end. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window range of 2-light flush cyma-moulded mullion windows. There are hoodmoulds above the ground floor windows and the central door, which also has a hood supported by brackets. The attic at the north end includes a 2-light window with a hoodmould, and there is one similar window on the ground floor at the rear. A low addition from the 20th century is located at the north end.
