Description

This is a late 17th or early 18th century house, constructed of painted rubble stone and featuring a stone-tiled roof with end-wall stacks. The two-storey and attic building has a double-fronted facade. Two 3-light recessed mullion windows with ovolo-moulding and hoodmoulds are present on each floor, and a central door stands within a chamfered surround topped with a hood on brackets. The south end wall has been built up to a flat parapet, aligning with the chimney level. A low stone-tiled addition to the north-west features a single light window with a hoodmould in the north end wall. A lean-to extension is situated on the north end wall. Group value: the building contributes to the character of the local area.
