Description

The Hooper monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 7 meters southwest of the tower of the Church of St Michael and All Angels. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and has two shield-shaped fielded panels adorned with scrolled carving on the pilasters. It is topped with a flat surface that has a moulded cornice. The inscription on the tomb is partly illegible.
