Description

This is a house located at 27 High Street, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from rendered limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two bays. The central door has six flush panels, with the upper two being glazed. On either side of the door are 19th-century canted bay windows topped with hipped stone slate roofs. The windows have raised flat surrounds and quoins, and there is a rendered impressed sponge vermiculation key above the door. The first floor has twelve-pane sash windows, and there is a central two-light dormer. A brick stack is located on the right side of the house.
