Description
The Kings Head public house, formerly The George, dates to the 18th century. It is constructed of painted coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. A central doorway is topped by a bracketed, flat hood. The ground floor windows are large and rectangular, featuring a Shavian arched motif with leaded spandrels. The first floor has cross windows with louvred shutters. Brick gable stacks are present. Extensive two-storey outbuildings are located to the rear.
