Description
39 Tory is likely a pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century, built at a right angle to the street and stepped up the hillside. The building is constructed of ashlar and features a string course. The first floor has three windows, with a pair of casement windows in wooden frames to the left. To the right are two large windows with segmental heads, also in wooden frames. The ground floor contains two paired casement windows. A plinth runs along the base of the building. The property is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of buildings in Tory, particularly in relation to Budbury House and Budbury Place.
