Description
The boundary wall of 70 The Close dates from the 18th century and runs south along the road. It is approximately 6 feet high and constructed of flint rubble and stone, featuring tiled coping. At the south end, there are brick bands and a lantern mounted on a scrolled bracket. This wall is part of a group of listed buildings in The Close, which collectively form an outstanding architectural ensemble.
