Description
The garden walls of 70 The Close are located on the south side of the house and include fragments of the original structure. These walls are made of stone rubble and flint, with some brickwork, and incorporate a few remnants from the original Leaden Hall. Notable features include a two-light window with trefoiled lights and a quatrefoil in plate tracery above, as well as a lancet and two small circular openings that come from a gable. The listed buildings in The Close create an outstanding group.
