Description

The M. Tayler monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 meters north-east of the Godfrey monument and north-east of the Church of St. Margaret. This late 18th-century tomb is made of ashlar stone and features an oval plaque on the south side and a rectangular plaque on the north side with concave corners. Fluted strips flank the plaques, and the corners are adorned with balusters and husk drops. The monument has a moulded base and cornice, and it bears an inscription commemorating Mary Tyler, who died in 1799.
