Description

The Taylor Monument is an early 19th-century chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 3 meters east of the Townsend Monument and south of the porch of the Church of St. Bartholomew. It features two plaques on each side, which are flanked by reeded strips, with low relief carved urns positioned between them. The monument has a moulded base and cornice, along with a fluted frieze. It bears an inscription commemorating Ann Taylor, who died in 1816.
