Description

MARKET PLACE 1. 1594 (Blue Boar Row) Nos 41 to 44 (consec). SU 1430 SW 1/295 II GV 2. Range of 3 former houses. Later Cl8. 3 storeys. Completely modern on ground floor with shop fronts. Upper floors red brick with chambered stone quoins. Brick parapet articulated by brick piers with stone coping. Stone bracketed cornice. Gable end old tile roofs. 12 windows, recessed sashes, no glazing bars, cambered heads on second floor, stone arches and projecting key blocks. Effective long front to Market Place.

Nos 41 to 44 (consec) with the Blue Boar Inn and Nos 45 to 51 (consec) form a group.
