Description

Nos. 43 and 45 Bridge Street are late 18th-century buildings constructed of red brick. They rise to three storeys and feature long and short quoins at the sides. The front has four sash windows, each adorned with fluted keyblocks and flat brick arches, along with a sill band. A modillion eaves cornice and a parapet complete the top of the buildings. The modern shop fronts have been added at street level. The side facing Cowl Street has six windows, some of which are blocked, and these are topped with channelled lintels. Nos. 37 to 47 (odd) Bridge Street form a group.
