Description
No. 37 Market Place is a building from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is three storeys tall and constructed of painted brick. The building features a moulded stone cornice and a blocking course, topped with an old tile roof that has a gable end and one dormer. The upper floor has three windows, which are recessed sashes with later glazing bars and block sills. The ground floor has a modern shop front. No. 37 is part of a group that includes Nos. 34, 35, The Chough Hotel, and Lloyds Bank.
