Description

The Hicks monument is a chest tomb located about 2 meters east of the east end of the Church of St Nicholas in Bromham. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features two raised circular plaques with foliate decoration at the center and on the angle piers. It has a moulded base and a moulded capstone. The monument bears an inscription commemorating John Hicks, who died in 1780.
