Description

The entrance gates, piers, and attached walls with railings to Stockton House date to the 18th and 19th centuries. The 18th-century gate piers are constructed of chamfered rusticated limestone and feature moulded cappings topped with lions. The double gates are of 20th-century wrought iron. Curved quadrant walls, likely dating to the late 19th century, are built of rusticated stone with flat moulded coping and wrought iron railings. The end piers of the walls are chamfered and rusticated, with moulded cappings and urn finials.
