Description
This is an early 18th-century detached cottage situated on Stockton High Street. It is constructed of chalk block and rubble stone with some brick detailing, and has a thatched roof with a hip to the right and gable end brick stacks. The cottage is single-storey with an attic, and has two windows on the front elevation. A planked door is located to the left of centre, with a two-light casement window on either side. There are two eyebrow dormers in the attic, each containing a two-light casement window. A lean-to extension is attached to the right return. The rear elevation includes a 20th-century four-light casement window to the left and a two-light casement window to the right, along with attic dormers. The interior was inaccessible during the survey in April 1987.
