Description

The garden walls around the entrance courtyard on the north-west side of Stockton House were likely built in the 1870s by B. Ferrey. These walls enclose the south-west and north-west sides of the entrance forecourt. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature dwarf walls topped with an open strapwork balustrade. The walls also include intermediate piers that are adorned with decorated urns.
