Description

The property at 20 and 22 Church Street dates to the early 19th century. It is a two-storey building constructed of English bond brick, with a slate roof featuring a coped verge on the right-hand side. Three brick chimneys are present, one on the ridge and two projecting from the front. The building has glazing bar sash windows with architrave frames. On the first floor, there are four windows with architrave frames. The ground floor includes a segmental arched yard entry on the left, one window, and two three-panel doors, also with moulded architraves, sheltered by moulded wooden hoods supported on slender brackets with double scroll cuts. A single window is located to the right of the entrance. The door panels are formed of vertical boards separated by double beading.
