Description
14 Church Street is an 18th-century wing that is set back to the left of No 12. The building has two storeys and an attic, and it is likely that the front was originally part of a single construction. It features colour washed brick with stone quoins and a string course at the first-floor level. The cornice matches that of No 12, although it is set back. The roof is made of pantiles and is hipped to the left.
There is one gabled casement dormer with a moulded wood pediment head. The windows are primarily glazing bar sashes, with a central first-floor window that has an architrave frame, a flat arch, and a keystone. On the ground floor to the left, there is a coupled window with a keystone and a raised flat surround that has moulded outer and beaded inner edges. To the right, there is a nine-panel door, with the upper six panels raised and fielded, which also features a keystone and a raised stone surround with moulded outer and beaded inner edges. Both keystones on the ground floor are located directly beneath the first-floor string. There are pantiled extensions at the rear.
