Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of houses located on the east side of St Martin’s Church Street. The terrace comprises numbers 23 to 35 (odd). The buildings are constructed of red brick with a rendered plinth. They have a low-pitched gable-ended slate roof and flat eaves. Each house features one window and a door of four flush panels, with some alterations to the doors. Above each door is a three-pane rectangular fanlight. The doorcases are characterized by pilasters, a frieze, and a small cornice. Numbers 17 to 35 (odd) form a notable group.
