This is a detached house located on the south side of Nos 1, 2, and 3 Church Cottages in Compton Chamberlayne, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with brick stacks. The house is two stories tall and has three windows across the front. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door topped with a gabled hood, flanked by 16-pane sash windows on either side. The first floor also has three 16-pane sashes. The building has deep eaves. The left side has a 20th-century door and a casement window, while the right side features a sash window. The rear of the house includes additional sash windows. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in April 1986.
