Description
The stable and carriage house located to the west of Compton Park House dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey. On the east side, there are three segmental-headed 15-pane sash windows to the left, with planked doors and double planked doors in the center, and two round-arched double planked carriage doors to the right. The left return has a planked door with a transom light above it. The roof is topped with an axial cupola that has a square painted clock face and a weathervane. The rear of the building also has segmental-headed 15-pane sashes.
