Description
Hill View is a detached house built in the early 19th century. The front is constructed of grey Flemish bond brick, while the returns and rear are made of flint and brick, topped with a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate and featuring brick stacks. The house has an 'L'-shaped plan and is two stories high with three windows that contain sash frames. The entrance door has six fielded panels set in panelled reveals and is sheltered by a wooden Tuscan porch located to the left of the center. To the left of the door is a 16-pane sash window with a flat arch and tumbling-in, and there are two more sash windows to the right. On the first floor, there are three wide 12-pane sashes, each with four panes. The roof has deep eaves supported by paired wooden brackets. The rear wing includes 12-pane sashes and 2-light casements. The left return is rendered and features a flint and brick stack, along with an attached 20th-century conservatory. The right return has an external stack made of flint and brick. The interior has not been inspected.
