Description
This is an early 19th century house located on the east side of Upavon High Street. It is constructed of brick and has a thatched roof. The main house is two storeys high with four bays, accompanied by a parallel block to the rear. The front features a six-panelled door within panelled reveals, with bracketed canopies over the second and fourth bays; the canopies in the fourth bay lack reveals. The ground floor has tripartite windows with four panes each, surmounted by finely gauged flat lintels. The first floor has four-pane sashes with moulded surrounds. The fourth bay may have originally been a separate dwelling and features a narrow projecting wing. The main roof is half-hipped, and the wing roof is hipped.
