Description
Greta House is an early 19th-century house located on South Hill in Droxford. The main front features roughcast with a plinth and a low parapet topped with cornice moulding, while the service block on the south side is made of painted brickwork. The roof is tiled and has two levels.
The northern part of the house has a wide, symmetrical front elevation that is two storeys high with three windows. The upper windows are Victorian sashes, and the lower ones are sashes set in reveals. There is a simple porch with a moulded canopy supported by posts, flanked by narrow round-headed windows from the 20th century, and half-glazed double doors.
The southern part of the house displays irregular fenestration, featuring two sashes and two casements, along with an early 19th-century doorcase that includes a pediment, architrave, and a glazed door. Additionally, there is a carriage entrance, which has been converted into a garage, on the south side.
