Description
Park Hill Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of painted rubble stone with a tiled roof and brick stacks. The building is single storey with an attic and features two windows. There is a planked door located in a gabled porch to the left of the center, with two 2-light casements to the right and a 2-light casement to the left. The attic has two hipped dormers, one with a 3-light casement and the other with a 2-light casement.
On the right side, there is a 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement on the ground floor and a 2-light casement on the first floor. The rear of the cottage has a 20th-century door, with a 1-light casement on either side, a 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to the left, and a 2-light casement to the right. An attached 20th-century extension is located on the left return. Inside, the cottage features chamfered beams with stepped stops and blocked open fireplaces. It is situated in an isolated position on Park Hill.
