Description
The Packer monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 5 meters south of the south porch door of the Church of the Holy Cross. It dates from 1728 and is made of limestone. The tomb features a chamfered table and a chest with scroll corner brackets and angles that hold draped scrolls. An inscription for John Packer, son, was added to the end in 1781. This monument is of Cotswold type.
