House and cottage. C17, altered early C19 and C20. Rubble stone, stone slate roof with gable end and lateral brick stacks. Two- storey, 6-window. Planked door and 12-pane sash to left of centre with lateral gabled stack either side, the left one no longer gabled, 2-light casement to left and two sashes and single casement to right. First floor has three 12-pane sashes and three 8-pane sashes. Rear has C20 gabled porch to right, 16-pane and 12-pane sashes to both floors. Mill Cottage attached to right of house has door with arched panels, 3-light chamfered mullioned casement to right and 2-light and 3-light mullioned casements to first floor. Rear of cottage has blocked doorway and 2-light mullioned casements, blocked arch for former mill race below cottage. Interiors said to have been remodelled C20. It seems probable that part of this range of buildings was used as a mill and subsequently converted to a dwelling.
