Description

There are four monuments located in the churchyard, positioned between 1 and 4 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. These body tombs date from the late 17th century and mid 18th century and are made of limestone. The southernmost monument is dedicated to Ann Patient, who died in 1744. Next to it, to the north, is another monument for Ann Patient, who died in 1761. Further north is the tomb of Bridget Lock, who passed away in 1692, and at the northern end of the group is the monument for Henery Hill, who died in 1703.
