Description
Three monuments are located in the churchyard between 4 and 7 meters west of the Church of St Mary, St Katherine and All Saints. These are three chest tombs dating from the mid-18th century to the early 19th century, made of limestone. Each tomb features a plinth and two shield-shaped panels on the main sides. The northern tomb, dedicated to Martha Taylor who died in 1838, has fluted pilasters and a cyma-moulded flat top. Among the pair to the south, the eastern tomb is adorned with scrolled carving on the pilasters and around the shields, while the western tomb has a partly illegible inscription with the date 1744; both also have cyma-moulded flat tops.
